Zeitler Design
An elevated digital identity that turns an agency’s craft into its clearest calling card.
Zeitler Design’s website redesign was an opportunity to create a digital identity that matched the agency’s evolution—from a small creative studio to an award-winning branding and web design partner.
The new site needed to inspire potential clients, showcase creative credibility, and demonstrate Zeitler’s own design excellence through every detail. By pairing intuitive navigation with dynamic, visually confident layouts, the redesign now serves as both a portfolio and a conversion-driven experience—an example of Zeitler’s work in action.

Updates: January 2025

The Challenge:
Zeitler Design had evolved from a boutique studio into an award-winning agency. Its previous website no longer represented that growth—it provided information but lacked the energy, elegance, and interactivity that defined the team’s work.

The challenge was to build a modern, inspiring digital identity that could both attract clients and demonstrate design leadership, all while staying accessible, minimal, and aligned with the agency’s new offerings.

The redesign needed to:
-
Invite potential clients to hire Zeitler for branding and web design
-
Inspire creativity and motivate brands to elevate their identity
-
Communicate capabilities with clarity and warmth
-
Serve as a living example of Zeitler’s design philosophy

At the same time, it had to avoid feeling generic or over-designed. The challenge was to find balance between showcasing creative flair and maintaining accessibility, legibility, and flow.
Understanding the Audience
Zeitler Design’s clients range from small businesses and creative entrepreneurs to emerging e-commerce brands seeking to elevate their visual presence and connect meaningfully with customers. These clients are ambitious, design-aware, and ready to invest in a partner who can help them stand out while scaling up.

They’re drawn to Zeitler’s ability to create work that feels unique yet accessible—designs that balance creative flair with commercial reach. For many, working with Zeitler isn’t just about a logo or website; it’s about finding a team that understands their brand personality and growth goals.

User Goals
-
See craft immediately: Experience Zeitler’s design sensibility and versatility through visuals and interaction.
-
Find clarity fast: Understand services, process, and collaboration options without friction.
-
Feel inspired: See the potential for their own brand to grow through thoughtful, strategic design.
-
Take action confidently: Contact or inquire with trust, knowing Zeitler can guide them through creative and business growth.
Pain Points:
-
The previous website showed personality but didn’t fully convey the agency’s skill, scale, or process.
-
It offered limited examples of large or complex projects, making it harder for prospective clients to grasp Zeitler’s full capabilities.
-
The new website builds on that foundation, expanding the story through project showcases, motion, and an interactive demo reel that communicates both expertise and experience.

The Problem
Zeitler Design needed a website that visually represents its creative maturity, educates clients on its process, and inspires trust—all while standing as a real-world example of the agency’s UX/UI capabilities.

Goals:
-
Communicate confidence through visual hierarchy and motion
-
Showcase expertise with some insight into approach
-
Maintain accessibility with high-contrast text and minimal friction
-
Present case studies and client success as proof of credibility
-
Motivate users to inquire or collaborate

The Solution
The new site turns Zeitler’s own design system into its strongest sales tool—an immersive, interactive portfolio that mirrors the agency’s aesthetic philosophy.

Version 1 established a balanced foundation of structure, contrast, and storytelling.
Version 2 refined that base to accommodate new Design-on-Demand and Brand-on-Demand services, integrating them into the same seamless ecosystem.

The result is a website that teaches through experience: each scroll, hover, and transition models the kind of brand transformation Zeitler creates for its clients.
Design Ideation:
The visual direction embraced Zeitler’s signature duality—minimalism and magnetism. Beige backgrounds paired with airy sky-blue typography and subtle gradients created a calm, editorial tone.

Motifs & Motion
-
Circles and sparkles act as recurring visual anchors—symbols of connection and creativity.
-
A star-line indicator tracks scroll position, subtly guiding the user through sections.
-
Hover-triggered image reveals add delight and reinforce storytelling.

Interaction Logic
-
A branding vs. web design toggle lets users explore Zeitler’s two core offerings dynamically, making the homepage both navigational and narrative.
-
Text hierarchy and spacing were simplified so that even dense service information feels light and skimmable.
-
Gradients and fine-line dividers maintain rhythm and continuity throughout long-scroll layouts.

The ideation phase centered on creating a design that feels alive but not loud, inviting curiosity while keeping every detail purposeful.
HiFi Prototype:
All high-fidelity designs were built in Figma using a component-based system that allowed for easy updates and consistent motion across pages. Interactive prototypes simulated:
-
Toggle transitions between Branding and Web Design views.
-
Scroll-linked star motion and fade-in text reveals.
-
Responsive adjustments to ensure the fluid typography and circular imagery maintained balance on mobile.

The prototypes were presented internally as both UX validation tools and visual sales pieces, showcasing Zeitler’s approach to digital storytelling.
QA Process & Revision:
QA focused on ensuring animation smoothness, hover timing, and accessibility of motion for all devices. Only light refinements were needed—mostly around mobile scroll thresholds and image scaling—to preserve performance and polish.
The Results:
-
Stronger brand alignment—the website now embodies Zeitler’s tone: creative, confident, and compassionate.
-
Immediate ROI: within weeks of launch, new inquiries referenced the redesign directly.
-
Award-winning recognition for both UI and UX design categories.
-
A scalable design system ready to evolve with future services and campaigns.
Reflection
Designing Zeitler’s own website was a unique experience—designing for designers meant every detail had to hold up to both client expectations and internal standards.

The project reinforced the importance of clarity, modularity, and emotional resonance in design. It also taught me how to balance business objectives with creative storytelling, and how the right website can serve as both a product and a proof of process.

This project continues to be a cornerstone in demonstrating my ability to design for agencies, brands, and creative audiences alike—where usability meets inspiration.
